Koukouldi’s Celebration of Academic Excellence Sparks Community Engagement

Koukouldi: The village of Koukouldi in the commune of Tenado, Sangui© province, was abuzz with activity on Saturday as it celebrated academic excellence, thanks to the efforts of the 'DJE GNIN' Association, noted the AIB. Far from being just an awards ceremony, the event underscored the crucial role of education and community engagement in shaping a better future for the town's youth.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was held under the patronage of prominent figures such as the President of the National Commission of the Confederation of Sahel States, Bassolma Bazi©, along with the Minister of Justice, Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, and Simon Pierre Baz©, the representative of the PDS. Their presence emphasized a commitment to the youth of Koukouldi, elevating the local celebration to a significant event. The ceremony honored the top ten students in the CEP and BEPC exams, intermediate class winners, and the top girls from each school and middle school, with school kits and bicycles to aid their educational pursuits.

Lassan© Yelemou, head of the Tenado basic education district, remarked that these rewards were more than material gifts; they were powerful messages of encouragement, urging students to strive for greater achievements. CM2 teachers, recognized for their essential role in student success, received certificates of recognition.

The event also showcased local talent, with individuals like Faustin Bamouni, Abraham Bado, Yvette Bationo, and Th©ophile N'Do sponsoring initiatives in health promotion and cycling, reflecting the community's dedication to well-being. Jules Bationo, president of the DJE GNIN Association, expressed gratitude to those involved in education and called for unity and mobilization among the people of Koukouldi and their friends to support these important initiatives. He encouraged the youth to join the association in ensuring a committed future.

This celebration in Koukouldi represents more than a tradition; it is an investment in the future and a source of inspiration for every child, showcasing the power of a united community in shaping its destiny, according to the PDS representative.
