Loroum/Administrative start: The provincial director of post-primary and secondary education encourages stakeholders

The provincial director of post-primary and secondary education in Loroum, Souleymane Ouermi, paid a visit to staff on Friday September 15, 2023, the day of the administrative start, to the site where displaced students are gathered internal students of the Naaba Tigré High School in Ouahigouya.

The provincial director of post-primary and secondary education in Loroum, Souleymane Ouermi, expressed his gratitude to the staff for the results obtained during the previous school year and encouraged them to keep the torch of education lit despite the difficult context.

Mr. Ouermi also inquired about the team's concerns with a view to improving working conditions.

As a reminder, the local initiatives developed by education stakeholders in Loroum have ensured educational continuity in Titao and Ouahigouya for the benefit of the children of the province. They made it possible to record a success rate of 41.27% for the BEPC and 34.78% for the baccalaureate.

The good results in the BEPC in Titao (61.54%) earned recognition from the State to the coordinator of the initiative developed at the Lycée provincial du Loroum, Yacouba Niampa, during the day of academic excellence in Ouagadougou, on August 31, 2023.

Speaking during the Titao municipal consultation framework on September 7, Mr. Ouermi reaffirmed the willingness of the stakeholders to do everything possible so that Loroum students can follow classes in Titao and those who will not be able to return in Titao, can continue their studies in Ouahigouya.
