Market capitalisation by foreigners in the Tunis Stock Exchange in September 2023 amounted to TND 5.026 billion, that is 21.2% of the overall capitalisation, reads a monthly newsletter. Acquisitions by foreigners of traded securities totalled TND 351,000 against sales of TND 6,231 thousand. This resulted in a negative net balance of TND 5,879 thousand. Sectoral breakdown of securities held by foreners in September 2023 is as follows: financial companies (239,093,641 securities), consumer goods (172,121,926) and industries (18,128,345 ). Seventy-nine companies are so far listed on the main market of the Tunis Stock Exchange.
