Minister of Public Works and Housing, Sarra Zafarani Zanzari, stressed the need to respect the deadlines for the implementation of public projects and to speed up the completion of ongoing projects.
She called on those in charge of programmes to coordinate their efforts to ensure that they are carried out in the best possible conditions.
At a working session chaired by the Minister on Thursday to monitor the disbursement of commitment and payment appropriations for the 2023 financial year and the draft budget for 2024, she reviewed the main new projects programmed and the annual performance project for 2024, as well as the objectives and performance indicators of the various programmes.
In addition, the rate of utilisation of payment and commitment appropriations for the infrastructure programmes included in the 2023 budget is evolving at different rates.
