Naba Koanga, Dima of Rissiam, Supports Bam Fighting Forces with Food Donation

Bam: Naba Koanga, Dima of Rissiam, donated food this Saturday to the fighting forces of Bam province in recognition of their efforts to recapture the national territory. The donation consists of 2.5 tons of rice, 10 20-liter cans of oil, 4 bags of salt, and 4 bags of soap powder and was handed over to the 16th Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR 16). It aims to support soldiers mobilized in the fight against insecurity in the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation serves as a gesture of gratitude toward the fighting forces who are often deployed and risk their lives in times of insecurity. "When people are insecure, it is the fighting forces that are deployed, often risking their lives. This donation is a way of showing our gratitude to them," declared His Majesty Naba Koanga.

On the sidelines of the award ceremony, a public conference was held on the theme: "Intergenerational Dialogue, a Factor of Social Cohesion and Peace." It was hosted by specialist Aly Komi. The ceremony took place in the presence of several traditional and religious authorities. The activity was sponsored by Ms. Amsetou Ou©draogo, CEO of Global Business Company SA, represented by Rigobert Ou©draogo.

The president of the organizing committee, who is also the chief of the village of Konyonkloanga, emphasized that Dima's gesture is consistent with the call of President Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, who regularly invites all Burkinab¨ to contribute to the return of peace. As a reminder, Rissiam covers the administrative districts of Sabc©, Kongoussi, and Rollo.
