The 9th grade exam (general and technical basic education exam) kicked off Monday nationwide with 32,548 registered candidates. The results of the entrance exam to pilot schools will be announced on July 4. The seating capacity of pilot schools was set at 3,450 places. Pupils sitting this exam include 20,236 girls (62%) and 12,312 boys (32%). The Education Ministry made available 251 centres for written tests, 27 deposit centres, one Braille conversion centre, 4 collection centres and 6 correction centres.
