National days of patriotic commitment: the active forces of Tuy invited to promote the values of patriotism and citizenship

The High Commissioner of the Tuy Issiaka Segda province asked Tuesday in Houndé, the active forces of his province to promote the values of patriotism and citizenship through the 1st edition of the days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation in the said locality. On the occasion, the strong forces of the province raised their colors and heard the message from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré on patriotic commitment. The strong forces of the Tuy province, mostly dressed in Faso Dan Fani or Koko Dunda, raised their colors in Houndé. This ceremonial chaired by the High Commissioner, Issiaka Segda marks the official launch of the 1st edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation in the province of Tuy. On the occasion, the High Commissioner, Issiaka Segda delivered the message of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré to the active forces of his territorial jurisdiction. In this message, it appears that these days were established to consolidate the found ations of the Burkinabè nation and strengthen social cohesion and living together. Through this message, Issiaka Segda made it clear that these days are an invitation for each Burkinabè to take simple actions such as planting a tree, contributing to the peace effort, committing themselves as a VDP, conscientiously carrying out their tasks as an agent public, pay taxes, protect and respect public property, respect the highway code, eat local foods and products, etc. Furthermore, the first official of the province urged the active forces to take ownership of these days and to promote the values of patriotism and citizenship. It was the Council of Ministers of November 22, 2023 which established the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation.
