Niangoloko Industrial Development: Over 500 Hectares Allocated for Factory Establishment

Niangoloko: As part of the mobilization of industrial zones in Burkina Faso, a site prospecting mission, led by the Director of Operations of the National Land Coordination Authority (ANCF) of the Presidency of Faso, Traore Boroma, was in the City of Santa with a view to finding the space dedicated to the construction of factories.

According to Burkina Information Agency, following discussions and a working session with the departmental structures responsible for land and the Secretary General of the Niangoloko Town Hall, Innocent Sawadogo, the focus was set on the land where an area of approximately 507 hectares has been cleared to house the Niangoloko industrial zone. This initiative aligns with the vision of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, who aims to industrialize the 17 regions of the country according to the potential of each locality.

The director of the ANCF, Boroma Traore, mentioned that the site is relatively clear and a report will be made to the highest authorities for the continuation of the process with the involvement of all stakeholders.

As for the Secretary General of the Niangoloko Town Hall, Innocent Sawadogo, he expressed satisfaction with the existence of this site which is provided for in the Urban Development Master Plan (SDAU). He also welcomed the presidential initiative which will allow the exploitation of the immense potential of the Niangoloko Commune. For him, this will boost the economy of the community which is located in a strategic geographical position and create jobs with the aim of curbing the rural exodus.
