The tourism sector in Tozeur governorate recorded a noteworthy improvement after posting a 18.4% rise in the number of tourists till May 10 compared to the same period last year, said Local Commissioner for Tourism Yasser Souf. The number of overnight stays also saw a 10% increase to 83,767 during the same period, he told TAP on Wednesday.
