Ouagadougou: An individual was taken into police custody after the murder of a soldier near Tampouy, the AIB learned on Sunday. A sergeant was killed on the night of Friday February 23 to Saturday February 24, 2024 by a gun, near a drinking establishment in Tampouy in district no. 3 of Ouagadougou. According to sources close to the gendarmerie, the alleged perpetrator of the homicide was arrested yesterday Saturday around 4 p.m. in possession of the incriminated weapon. The suspect currently in police custody will be presented to the judicial authorities at the end of the investigations, specify the same sources.
