Yako: The Mediator of Faso, in collaboration with the Water Supply and Sanitation Program (PAESA), organized Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Yako, a mobile audience for the benefit of the active forces of the province of Passed.The Mediator of Faso wants to get closer to grassroots communities and especially to the Burkinabe public administration in order to deal with possible disputes, disputes and conflicts between citizens and the public administration, local authorities or any other organization responsible for a public service mission.It is in this context that the institution brought together on Saturday December 16, 2023 at the Yako Youth Center the active forces of Passoré on the occasion of the fairground audiences that it is organizing through a national tour.According to the Chief of Staff (DirCab) representing the Mediator of Faso, Noël Quentin Rouamba, these mobile hearings are intended to be a forum which generally aims to increase its visibility, to get closer to the populations and above all to collect complaints likely to be formulated.The mobile courts, declared the DirCab, are frameworks for promoting good citizenship, strengthening social cohesion and democracy in Burkina Faso.To the sons and daughters of Yako, Noël Rouamba invited them to a sacred union and to a strengthening of collaboration with the local authorities and with the FDS for an improvement in the security situation and a maintenance of tranquility in this locality in the North of the country. He also asked them to take the opportunity to express their specific concerns related to the dysfunction of the administration while reassuring them that these will be diligently examined by the institution.At the end of the meeting, the representative of Fatimata Sanou/Touré expressed expectations regarding the sons and daughters of Passoré. Expectations that he summarized, among others, to the promotion of peace, inter-ethnic harmony and above all to facilitate relations between citizens and the public administration as well a s the valiant fighting forces in their missions of preserving peace and quiet in the locality.He said he was satisfied that the institution has so far not encountered cases of complaints in the management of disputes and conflicts within the framework of the implementation of the water supply and sanitation program. in the locality.Addressing the news on the new institutional reforms envisaged by the Government of the Transition, in particular on the future of the Mediator of Faso, the representative of the Mediator of Faso made it clear that the missions and attributions of the institution will be merged with those other institutions with a view to creating a new and future institution called the 'National Council of Communities', in place of the old one.And to conclude that the particularity of the said institution is that it will take into account customary and religious leaders in its composition.
