The problem of the draft law criminalising normalisation with the Zionist entity had finally been resolved and a plenary session has been set for February 26 to resume voting on its articles without going through the debates, Head of the “Sovereign National Line” group in parliament, Abderrazek Aouidet, said Saturday.
In a statement to TAP, he explained that only his bloc, the initiator of the project, and the Committee on Rights and Freedoms were entitled to intervene to amend the text and that there would be no hearing or discussion on the project.
He pointed out that the initiator of the project to criminalise normalisation with the Zionist entity was open to all opinions from the beginning. The proof of this is that the initial version is very different from the one presented to the plenary.
Abderrazek Aouidet said he was confident that MPs would vote for the bill criminalising all relations with the Zionists.

The session was suspended in a climate of tension and division. While some MPs were in favour of adopting the bill, others proposed postponing the vote to allow for further debate on the text.
