Nahouri: The president of the special delegation of the commune of P´ encourages agricultural VDPs: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of P´, Ilassa Dianda, met with the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) agricultural workers of the commune. This gathering aimed to congratulate and encourage them following their completion of a three-month training in agricultural and fishing entrepreneurship.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 20 agricultural VDPs from the commune of P´ have completed this training program. It is part of the presidential initiative for agricultural development and food self-sufficiency in the province of Oubritenga. These individuals have committed to supporting this initiative and have returned to P´ where they were warmly received by Ilassa Dianda.
"We wanted to meet with you to encourage you and express our gratitude for the sacrifice you made during these three months, far from your families," Dianda expressed. He emphasized that the special delegation and the local population rely on the VDPs to boost agricultural production and support the President of Faso's goal of achieving food self-sufficiency.
The spokesperson for the VDP agricultural associations, Jean Paul Baminabi©, acknowledged the municipality's chief executive's approach and the comprehensive support received throughout the training. He assured that the acquired knowledge will be utilized for the community's benefit.
It is noteworthy that the provincial coordination of citizen monitoring, led by provincial coordinator Arouna Gomgnimbou, also attended the meeting to extend their congratulations to the VDPs.
