DORI: The mission officer at the presidency of Faso, Mr. Ali Bokoum, handed over four tricycles and garbage bins to the president of the special delegation of Dori. This initiative, conducted on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, aims to enhance the logistical capacities of the municipal technical services responsible for community hygiene and sanitation.According to Burkina Information Agency, this logistical support is part of the broader strategy for endogenous development, as outlined by Mr. Bokoum. The strategy focuses on strengthening the capacities of grassroots communities, which is a component of the Presidential Initiative for Development. The initiative is designed to not only improve the living environment of citizens but also promote decent employment and social protection, particularly targeting young people and women.Mr. Bokoum also assured that other municipalities in the Sahel region will be addressed in 2025. He encouraged the residents of Dori to actively participate in the sanitation activitie s to improve their city. The president of the special delegation of Dori, Mr. Abrahamané Mandé, expressed gratitude for the donation and confirmed that the tricycles would be used effectively to enhance sanitation conditions, ensuring that the equipment is utilized wisely.
