Tunis: The Prime Ministry announced during a small Cabinet meeting focused on the draft of a new investment law the launch of a new email address to ensure efficient handling of investors' files. The designated email address is [email protected] to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, this dedicated email will allow the government to monitor any delays or obstacles caused by public bodies that might affect investors. This includes failure to respond to requests or permits within specified deadlines or any other violations.The initiative aims to ensure that investor files are processed swiftly and efficiently. The Prime Ministry has urged users to send emails to the provided address, including the investor's phone number, their request, and all relevant documents previously submitted to the concerned public body.Prime Minister Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri stressed that all officials, across various levels of government, must respond promptly to investors, assist them with overcoming obstacles, address pro blems immediately, and propose suitable solutions for the country's benefit.She highlighted investment as a crucial pillar for achieving economic growth, increasing employment, and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy. Since gaining independence, Tunisia has focused on regulating investment through evolving legal frameworks, adapting to economic and social changes, and integrating gradually into the global economy.Despite significant reforms introduced under Law No. 71 of 2016, the current investment system requires further improvements to fully realize the objectives of the national investment policy.
