Ouagadougou: The journalist of the Burkina Information Agency (AIB), Boukar© Ou©draogo, won on Saturday in Ouagadougou, the 4th prize in the competition for the best journalistic production on the victory of Russia during the Great Patriotic War.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in a six-minute video report, the journalist highlighted the victory of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR, now Russia) over Nazism in 1945, through a history lesson given on May 9 in a school in the capital.
This production earned him 4th prize in the competition, organized for the first time by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Burkina Faso, in partnership with the Russian-Burkinabe association African Initiative.
The first prize was awarded to Boukary Bonkoungou of €°ditions Sidwaya.
The prizes include televisions, smartphones, diaries, and certificates of participation.
