His Excellency the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, granted an audience this Tuesday morning to the four components of the Burkinabè political class who took part in the drafting of the Transition Charter. The former Alliance of Majority Political Parties, the former Leader of the Political Opposition, the former unaffiliated opposition and the “other parties”.
According to their spokesperson, Eddie KOMBOIGO, the political class has followed the various statements which clearly state that today the country is currently experiencing a war. "So we came this morning to bring the support of the political class, in particular the 4 components that took part in the design of the Transition Charter and to encourage the Head of State, especially because we know that the task is not is not easy,” he explained.
Eddie KOMBOIGO also indicated that the wish of the political parties remains the recovery of the whole of the territory, the resettlement of the populations in their locality with the functioning of the minimum administrative and social services and a supply of basic necessities in "dignified conditions ".
“The Head of State explained to us how difficult the situation was with more and more encouraging results on the ground, giving hope that this war will end soon for our benefit. That is to say, we will defeat terrorism. This is why we have come to encourage and support him,” concluded the spokesperson for the four components of the Burkinabè political class.
