_: The High Commissioner of the Séno province, Mr. Wulfan Emile Firmin Bamas, chaired the first ordinary session of the provincial consultation framework (CCP) on Thursday, December 21, 2023 in Dori, with a view to examine and take stock of the activities of the basic social services in a difficult security context.According to representatives of the security services, the security situation in the Séno province remains worrying, despite the efforts of the State and the sacrifice of the Fighting Forces.According to them, this results, among other things, from the lure of easy gain, poverty, the massive influx of internally displaced people and refugees, the absence of an intra-community organization to combat insecurity and the position geography of the province.Representatives of the security services conclude that administrative and municipal authorities, customary and religious leaders, civil society actors and populations have an important role to play in resolving this security crisis.Despite thi s stormy security environment, the populations of the Séno province live in harmony, according to the management in charge of human rights, the promotion of citizenship and peace.According to her, a collective awareness followed by actions of the various actors is necessary to consolidate this social cohesion, a guarantee of peace, development, religious freedom, movement and independence. The representative of the regional human rights directorate concluded by quoting Martin Luther King who said that we must learn to live together like brothers, otherwise we will all die together like idiots. The health district and the provincial directorate of primary and non-formal preschool education in Séno are resilient, according to their representatives.According to them, many health and school infrastructures are closed in the villages of the province. However, educational and health actions continue in the capitals of municipalities and provinces, where the populations are concentrated. The head of the depar tment in charge of youth urges the various stakeholders to never give up. For him, the province is full of enormous agricultural, pastoral, artisanal and mining potential.According to him, youth constitutes an asset for the development of the province, as long as it is valued through the strengthening of its employability. The provincial consultation framework, it should be remembered, is a consultative structure bringing together development actors operating in the province.According to the High Commissioner of the Séno province, Mr. Wulfan Emile Firmin Bamas, it is a space for dialogue between decentralized rural development actors with a view to seeking synergy of actions and harmonization of interventions for a greater impact on the development of the province .According to him, the choice of the theme of the session on the security situation is justified by his conviction that the geographical position of the province makes it vulnerable and that the involvement of the population is necessary to c ontinue the stabilization and recovery actions. development. The first official of the province warmly thanked all the partners whose various support made it possible to hold this ordinary session of the Séno provincial consultation framework.
