Bobo-Dioulasso: The Burkinabè National Lottery (LONAB), official sponsor of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC), presented a check for 50 million CFA francs to the national organizing committee of said edition, on Sunday April 28, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso. Concerned about the successful organization of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC), the Burkinabè National Lottery (LONAB), official sponsor, signed a check for 50 million FCFA to accompany the cultural biennial. In turn, Mr. Ouédraogo handed over to the national president of the organizing committee, Betamou Aymar Fidèle Tamini. According to the first head of LONAB, the SNC is one of the great showcases for promoting the richness and diversity of the cultural and artistic heritage of Burkina Faso. Aware of the importance of the biennial for the countr y, the National Games of Chance has decided once again to associate its image as an official sponsor with this major cultural event like previous editions. The success of this 21st edition , maintained Mr. Zarani, is neither only the business of the government, nor that of the general management of the SNC, but the business of all Burkinabè. For him, this support is in line with LONAB's mission to support the State in promoting culture. Through its support, LONAB intends not only to contribute to the success of the 21st edition of the SNC, but also to respond to axis 6 included in its 2023-2027 strategic plan, namely: 'increasing its societal responsibility'. It is for this reason that it makes available to the organizing committee a financial envelope of 50 million CFA francs, including registration and the first three special prizes to be awarded, the cumulative value of which amounts to approximately five million CFA francs. In return, LONAB will benefit from commercial and advertising compensation, t he broad outlines of which are described in the sponsorship agreement. Furthermore, the general director of LONAB hoped that this partnership would be beneficial for both structures for the cultural influence of Burkina Faso. For his part, the president of the national organizing committee of SNC 2024, Betamou Aymar Fidèle Tamini, expressed his gratitude to LONAB for this long-standing partnership between the two structures. 'LONAB has been a major partner of the SNC for many years. Between two editions, it is a fruitful partnership which is consolidated over the course of the editions,' he indicated. According to him, this 'consistent' support in this particularly difficult period shows how much LONAB cares about the life of the Nation. Through this timely contribution, LONAB gives an eloquent example of its loyalty to its slogan: 'Prizes for the winners, profits for Faso', the faith of Mr. Tamini. The president of the national organizing committee of the SNC 2024 assured LONAB of the judicious use of this fund for the organization of the biennial. Furthermore, he remains convinced that given the mobilization of the populations, the strong involvement of stakeholders at all levels, the support and enthusiasm of Burkinabè and friends of Burkina Faso for this edition of the SNC, 'there are real reasons for satisfaction for the future '.
