The community village of the 20th edition of National Culture Week (SNC) is officially open.
On Sunday April 30, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, in charge of Regional Cooperation, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, proceeded, in the presence of the Guinean Minister of Culture , at the cutting of the symbolic ribbon of said village.

They are 14 communities to expose their know-how. These are the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Niger, Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Senegal, Chad, Nigeria, Congo, Togo and of course Burkina Faso.
After touring the various stands, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré confessed to having traveled to the villages of Burkina and across Africa.
“The village of communities shows all the diversity and the extent of the richness. It shows that we still have wealth to build peace wherever needed,” he suggested.
Guest country of the SNC, Guinea, through its Minister of Culture, Alpha Soumah, welcomed the initiative. “The SNC is the celebration of culture for all of Africa. African countries must come and share this joie de vivre through joking kinship with Burkina,” he said.
The UNDP is the sponsor of the SNC 2023 community village. Through the voice of the representative of the resident representative in Burkina, Dieudonné Kini, the UNDP has chosen to join the community village, because it finds in this space is a showcase par excellence of the cultural diversity present in the country.
"A cross-cultural framework of gender allows communities to get to know each other better and to accept each other better," he suggested.
