The commune of Gomboro in the province of Sourou was successfully supplied with basic necessities, thanks to the support of the Defense and Security Forces and volunteers for the defense of the homeland, on Saturday April 15, 2023.

Departing from Ouahigouya about forty kilometers to the North-East, the convoy unloaded a large cargo of food and other products for the benefit of the populations.

Gomboro, a locality located about sixty kilometers from Tougan, the capital of the province of Sourou is cut off from the rest of the country by the action of armed groups.
In July 2022, attacks perpetrated by armed terrorist groups led to a movement of populations towards Ouahigouya and other localities in the country.
But with the Kapidougou operation underway since April 3, 2023 in the Boucle du Mouhoun, the populations have great hopes of returning home soon.
