A Tunisian-Japanese manufacturing unit for rapid diagnostic tests was inaugurated on Monday in the El KalaS Kebira industrial zone, governorate of Sousse. The project is part of a partnership signed on June 14, 2022 between a pharmaceutical company and the Japanese company GCube. On this occasion, the first ultra-early pregnancy detection tests, manufactured for the first time in Tunisia, were presented. This new industrial unit will produce 330,000 pregnancy tests per month for use in Tunisia, North Africa and other countries around the world. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Tunisia.
