South Africa : Vodacom will invest $30.7 million in its network

To improve its network and services, telecommunications operator Vodacom Group will invest 570 million rand (30.7 million USD) in its activities in the Western Cape province for the financial year 2023/2024. R470 million will be allocated for expanding the 5G footprint, continued upgrading of existing network infrastructure and upgrading base station sites. The remaining R100 million will be spent on energy projects.
