Stadium Security: Around Forty Officials Trained by CAF

Ouagadougou: Security officials from Ligue 1 clubs and the security committee of the Burkinabe Football Federation were trained in 72 hours by experts from the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Forty trainees attended this session, which focused on crowd management, risk prevention, and safety at sporting events. Through this initiative, the Burkinabe Football Federation is strengthening its commitment to better-supervised competitions in a climate of peace and quiet. "There is no top-level football without safe stadiums, without well-supervised sports venues and without a solid system to guarantee the peace of mind of players, officials, journalists and supporters," declared FBF President Oumarou Sawadogo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, he was pleased to now have qualified human resources in Burkina Faso for match security. After 72 hours of discussions and learning, the training seminar for security managers from Ligue 1 clubs and the FBF security committee concluded this Friday, July 18, in Ouagadougou. The training was provided by CAF experts Babacar S¨ne and Abdelhafid Fergani.
