Swearing in to the Constitutional Council and fighting against terrorism, make the headlines of the day’s daily newspapers

Ouagadougou: This Tuesday's publications echo the fight against terrorism and the swearing-in of three members to the constitutional council. 'Constitutional Council: three new members take oath,' reads the headline of the state daily Sidwaya. The newspaper reports that three new members were sworn in for a nine-year term. The private daily Le pays indicated that the president of the Transition took note of the oath of these new members and sent them back to the exercise of their functions. Sidwaya adds that according to the president of the constitutional council Me Barthélémy Kéré, by receiving the oath of new members, the president of the Transition marked his attachment to respecting the principle of three-year renewal of a third of the members of the Constitutional Council . As for the dean of private dailies, Observateur Paalga, he indicates that certificates of recognition were awarded to the three members who left the Constitutional Council for service rendered to the nation.
