Kasserine: Security forces successfully eliminated a terrorist cell composed of four individuals near the delegation of Majel Bel Abbes, within the Kasserine governorate, as part of an ongoing operation. This operation, carried out on Thursday, comes after the terrorist group was closely monitored in recent days, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Ministry emphasized that security operations are continuing across the country without pause, aiming to thwart any conspiracies that threaten Tunisia's security and its citizens. The statement reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to eradicating all forms of terrorism.Earlier, on January 3, security units in Kasserine successfully foiled another terrorist operation near the weekly market in the delegation of Feriana. This was achieved after tracking a group of extremist elements, resulting in the elimination of the dangerous terrorist Seddik Labidi and the arrest of his accomplice.Tragically, d uring the confrontation in Feriana, security officer Marouane Kadri was martyred after sustaining serious injuries while bravely confronting one of the terrorists. The Ministry of the Interior continues to honor his sacrifice as operations persist to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
