Ouagadougou: The City Management Center (CEGECI) is embarking on a dedicated initiative from July 28 to August 3, aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of its employees. The "Health and Well-being at Work Week" is designed to highlight the significance of physical and mental health and to promote healthy professional practices among its staff.
According to Burkina Information Agency, CEGECI Director General Martine Ky officially inaugurated this initiative in Ouagadougou on July 28. The primary focus is to increase awareness about workplace health issues and encourage the development of a satisfying and efficient work environment. The week-long event is structured around a range of activities, including conferences, engaging debates, dynamic aerobics sessions, and health stands dedicated to promoting both physical and mental well-being.
Director General Ky highlighted that special attention will be given to team building, aiming to enhance team spirit and cohesion among employees. The carefully curated activities are meant to instill a culture of well-being, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and strengthen relationships between colleagues, which are all crucial components of a harmonious workplace.
Ms. Ky called on all staff members to actively participate in the activities, engage in meaningful discussions with partners and related entities, and contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of the professional climate.
