Tourist arrivals in Tozeur in Q1 of 2023 grew 4% to nearly 33,000, said Regional Tourism Commissioner Yasser Souf.
This upward trend in the number of visitors from different countries is expected to continue till the end of the year with a significant number of May to late August bookings, the official further said.
Tozeur is the venue of several events, including a car and motorcycle race and the Tunisia Desert Challenge.
