The Tunisian and Algerian Ministers of Tourism expressed their countries' readiness to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, in accordance with the recommendations of the meeting of the fifth session of the Tunisian-Algerian Joint Committee for Tourism Cooperation, held in Tunisia in 2022. During the meeting, which brought together Tourism Minister Mohamed Moez Belhassine, with his Algerian counterpart Mokhtar Didouche as part of a ministerial delegation participating in the 22nd session of the Tunisian-Algerian Joint Committee in Algeria, he laid emphasis on the importance of the next session of the Joint Committee for Tourism Cooperation to be held in Algeria. Both officials stressed the need to increase the number of exhibitions in the tourism and traditional industries sectors in the two countries so as to boost partnership between Tunisian and Algerian professionals as well as promote investment projects and consolidate trade of craft products. They also expressed will to sign bilateral agreements in the tourism field during the next session.
