The Tunisian Red Crescent will give a-400-dinar monthly grant to 144 Gazan students who go to Tunisian universities over three 3 months. These students face financial difficulties as their families stopped sending them money due to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, Spokesperson for the Tunisian Red Crescent Boutheina Gragba told TAP. A joint committee in charge of following up the situation of the 503 Palestinian students attending Tunisian universities was created to provide them with all necessary assistance, Gragba said following her meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Tunisia Hayel Al-Fahoum. The fundraising campaign is still underway across Tunisia, the spokesperson added without disclosing the amount of funds collected by the Red Crescent since its start.
