Two former presidents of Benin in Niamey to resolve differences with Niger

Ouagadougou: The former presidents of the Republic of Benin Nicephore Soglo and Yayi Boni had yesterday, Monday, a working visit with authorities from Niger in relation to the crisis which is shaking the two countries over the closure of their border.Nicephore Soglo and Tayi Boni were welcomed at Diori Hamani international airport by the Minister of State, Interior, Public Security and Territorial Administration, Brigadier General Mohamed Toumba.The two presidents are in Niamey to meet the Nigerien authorities with a view to discussing recent events between Benin and Niger.Source: Burkina Information Agency
