The Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) of the municipality of Balave, on alert for several days following reports, neutralized on April 27, some 5 km from Balave, around ten terrorists who were organizing themselves to take action.
In one of their missions to secure the town of Balave, the VDP located around ten armed terrorists whom they neutralized.
Visibly lacking fuel, according to a security source, the terrorists fell back on two motorcycles, towing three to form a group at the entrance to a village and take action.
‘Two drivers each towed two passengers whom they dropped off under a tree, then left to bring back 4 others. The elements were aware of all their movements,’ says our source.
On the night of Saturday April 20 to Sunday April 21, a combat unit including VDP from Solenzo managed to put an end to the path of a terrorist who was active in the Banwa province. He went to a village, seizing two bicycles which he intended to use to continue their acts because they lacked fuel in
the motorbikes usually used.
