Ouagadougou: Ziro province recorded a success rate of 85.12% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and sixth-grade entrance exams, 2025 session, thus exceeding its initial target of 80%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, out of 4,355 candidates, 3,707 were admitted, including 1,992 boys and 1,715 girls, which marks a strong mobilization and collective commitment. The best rates by constituency are respectively 95.46% for Bakata, 92.31% for Bougnounou, 87.03% for Dalo, 85.21% for Gao, as well as 82.28% for Sapouy and 78.46% for Cassou.
It should be noted that the Passin center, recently reopened, recorded a success rate of 41.66%. Despite some difficulties such as school dropouts, sometimes inappropriate choices of educational actors following a questionable procedure manual, and ambiguous wording in certain assessment subjects, the provincial director of education, Sidb©wendin Compaor©, praised the efforts of teachers, students, and the community.
This performance is proof of the resilience of the Ziro education system and heralds promising momentum for the years to come.
