Burkina Faso Ambassador to Gambia presents his credentials to President Adama Barrow

The ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Gambia, Saïdou Maïga, presented his letters of credence to President Adama Barrow yesterday Wednesday in Banjul, the AIB learned on Friday from an official source. Following the delivery of figurative copies of his letters of credence, Ambassador Saïdou Maïga presented his letters of credence to Gambian President Adama Barrow, on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at the State House of Gambia. The Burkina Faso embassy in Senegal, which provided the information on Friday, specified that President Adama Barrow sent his fraternal greetings and friendships to the Burkinabè head of state, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. 'President Barrow reiterated his commitment to strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Gambia and Burkina Faso,' specifies the same source. The President of the Republic of Gambia also congratulated and wished every success to the new Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Republic of Gambia. As a reminder, Saïdou Maïga was appointed on Octo ber 25, 2023, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Burkina Faso to Senegal.
