Burkina: The African Diplomatic Group in Ouagadougou offers a Ramadan Iftar reception in honor of the Burkinabè MAE

HM the King's Ambassador to Burkina Faso, Youssef Slaoui, Dean of the African Diplomatic Group in Ouagadougou, on Friday offered a Ramadan Iftar reception in honor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, Olivia R. Rouamba.

During this Iftar reception which took place at the Residence of the Ambassador of Morocco on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, was accompanied by her close collaborators, indicates a press release from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ouagadougou which reached MAP on Saturday.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Slaoui highlighted the honor and the pleasure that fall to the African Group to receive the Head of Diplomacy of Burkina Faso within the framework of its positive interactions regularly maintained with the Burkinabè authorities.

On behalf of the Group, he praised the good disposition of Burkinabè diplomacy towards the African Group, as well as the understanding that characterizes their relations, underlines the same source.

For her part, Ms. Olivia R. Rouamba expressed her joy and happiness in joining the members of the African Group, as a special guest, for this meal breaking the collective fast in an atmosphere marked by conviviality and of brotherhood.

She expressed her high appreciation for this commendable initiative, emphasizing her ministry's commitment to perpetuating this tradition of consultation and fruitful exchanges with the Group on subjects of common interest concerning our African continent, its stability and its socio-economic development.
