Cascades: Around twenty journalists and communicators at the school of proactive and efficient communication

As part of the popularization of the war communications strategy developed by the Ministry in charge of Communication, journalists and communicators from the Cascades region benefited, on Wednesday April 24, 2024 in Banfora, from from the regional communications and media directorate, training for proactive and efficient communication. There were around twenty journalists and communicators from the Cascades region who took part in this awareness and training session on the popularization of the war strategy of the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Art and Tourism (MCCAT) . According to the Cascades regional director of communications and media, Ousmane Traoré, this workshop aims to exchange information with information stakeholders on the government's war communications strategy. Traoré explained that the training also consists of equipping participants for proactive, coherent, effective and efficient communication in a difficult security crisis context. During the discussions, the participants learned about the objectives of the ministry's war communications strategy which boils down, among other things, to the missions of the transition, namely the restoration of the integrity of the national territory, the management of humanitarian action, good governance, consolidation of population resilience. For speaker Ousmane Traoré, the objective of this strategic communication plan is to propose effective communication responses to crises and to strengthen social cohesion and the credibility of transition stakeholders with a view to its successful implementation. He also invited the participants to work to bring more resilient populations to support the FDS and the VDP, and to cultivate peace, social cohesion and living together.
