Tenkodogo: Economic operator El Hadj Ousseni Sorgho donated 20 tons of cement to the Faso Mªbo brigade in Tenkodogo on Thursday. This gesture, part of the presidential initiative, aims to strengthen efforts to rebuild and beautify the city.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the handover took place in the presence of the commander of the Tenkodogo brigade, the project manager for the Nakamb© region, and the operator's close associates. The cement will be used to rehabilitate public infrastructure, build new structures, and improve the living environment of residents.
Lieutenant Abdoul Fatah Sawadogo, commander of the brigade, stated that "this gesture responds to the objective of Faso Mªbo, which is to mobilize public and private actors to build and beautify our cities."
Originally from Tenkodogo, El Hadj Ousseni Sorgho emphasized that every Burkinab¨ must, to the best of their ability, contribute to the country's development. He remarked, "Our success must have an impact on society. It is a duty to support public action, particularly in building our homeland," and invited private operators and the diaspora to join the Faso Mªbo initiative.
The brigade commander reassured that the cement will be used in accordance with identified needs and procedures, to produce sustainable structures for the benefit of communities. With this gesture, El Hadj Ousseni Sorgho is part of the national solidarity drive for the reconstruction and beautification of Burkina Faso's cities.
