Gnagna: No can or barrel was served to the enemy on April 7 in Pièla

The gas stations of Pièla did not serve this Friday, fuel in cans or in barrels which could land at the enemy, learned the AIB, while rumors claimed the opposite.

The province of Gnagna has been deprived of fuel for several days by actors who suspect citizens of supplying it to terrorists.

Finally after negotiations, the fuel arrived this Friday, April 7, 2023 to the happiness of the populations.

However, the same day, social networks peddled rumors that as soon as the fuel arrived in the town of Piéla, cans and barrels loaded into tricycles were quickly served to unknown directions.

After checking with the Forces of Order and Security (FDS) and certain resource persons on site, it appears that since the arrival of the fuel, no customer has been served with a can or with a barrel.

“Law and security forces and self-defense groups are keeping watch to enforce the regulations,” says one of our sources.

On the contrary, two individuals who were emptying the fuel of their motorcycle in the city, were quickly unmasked, arrested and kept at the police station, we learned.

The populations of Gnagna wonder why so much harassment and accusations against them in this crucial period of the fight against insecurity.

As a reminder, recent publications attributed to the populations of Bogandé for having burned terrorist accomplices alive. Which was wrong.
