Primary school students from the commune of Tougo in the province of Zondoma handed over a whopping 371,600 francs to the authorities this Tuesday, April 16, 2024, as a contribution to the fight against terrorism. Students from traditional primary schools and Franco-Arab schools in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Tougo did not want to remain on the sidelines of the fight against terrorism in their locality. This is why they decided to pool part of the money intended for their snack to, they say, support their parents and brothers (VDP and FDS) engaged in securing the town. In total, the sum of 371,600 CFA francs was collected for this purpose. The official delivery of this contribution took place this Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the town hall of Tougo in the presence of local authorities, in particular the head of the basic education district, the Naaba Bouli of Tougo, security officials etc. and the living forces of the municipality.
