Gourma: The princesses and princes of Nungu are looking for endogenous solutions to the security crisis.

The princesses and princes of Nungu exchanged, on Saturday March 25, 2023 in Fada N'Gourma, on their contribution to the security challenges that undermine their region from Burkina Faso.

Like other localities in the country, the Eastern region has been tested for several years by the terrorist hydra which has led to several massive displacements of populations, hampered the economy and the closure of several social services, plunging the region in extreme pain.

To support the search for stability in their locality, the princesses and princes of Nungu / Gulmu met this Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Fada N'Gourma, to reflect without language on the subject of their contribution to security challenges that undermine this area from Burkina Faso.

The President of the Consultation Framework of Princes and Princesses of Nungu /Gulmu (CCPN/G), Pr Talardia Thiombiano declared that they princes and princesses of Nungu living in Ouagadougou could not remain insensitive to the tragedy and the multiple massive displacements of populations as a result of terrorism.

“We have come to express our solidarity with these populations in distress and to reflect with our sisters and brothers on endogenous solutions to security challenges because knowing that the State alone cannot overcome terrorism and above all that we are income that the mobilization at the level of the VDPs was weak”, added Pr Talardia Thiombiano.

With regard to two-headedness, Pr Talardia suggested that it constitutes a wound that plagues the social fabric.

“But it is time for all the Thiombiano who constitute one and the same entity to silence their contradictions, their quarrels, differences and face the general interest, the collective interest to overcome this great evil (terrorism) which does not stop wrongfully bereaving families,” he added.

He explained that the expansion of terrorism in Gulmu is due to its geographical position and the deaf ear of the authorities of the time to the calls of the populations who reported suspicious movements.

Pr Talardia deplored the fact that it is their children today who kill them without them ceasing their true reason.

Pascal Thiombiano of the Tenintuodiba line appreciated this meeting which mobilized more than two hundred daughters and sons of the royal court of Fada N'Gourma whose key word is to mobilize to support the authorities in the fight against terrorism.

"We can't wait for this dynamic that emerges around the Nungu princes and princesses to have an impact on the other communities who live in harmony with the populations of the East", wished Pascal Thiombiano.
