The special delegation of the municipality of Dano adopted on April 3 and 4, 2024, during its first ordinary session of the current year, its administrative and financial management report for 2023. The meeting was chaired by the prefect, President of the special municipal delegation (PDS) Denis Zanré. During this ordinary session, the president of the special municipal delegation of Dano (PDS), Denis Zanré presented the special report of the authorizing officer on the management of the year 2023. This report includes an update on the financial situation of the municipality for the year 2023, the situation of the materials transferred, the main achievements in 2023, the prospects and the situation of execution of the deliberations taken. The total revenue situation (operating and investment) in 2023 amounts to 464,102,327 CFA francs for a forecast of 522,320,128 CFA francs, i.e. an achievement rate of 88.85%. Total operating and investment expenses amount to 274,517,860 CFA francs against a forecast of 52 2,320,128 CFA francs, or an achievement rate of 52.55%, indicated the PDS. For the resources transferred to the field of primary education in 2023, Denis Zanré specified that there is a balance of 12,483,699 CFA francs intended to pay the bill for undelivered oil for the benefit of school canteens. The PDS also presented the main achievements of the special delegation during the 2023 financial year. These include, among other things, the development work on a pig slaughter area, the rehabilitation of the slaughterhouse of Dano, the acquisition of table benches for schools, the rehabilitation of boreholes carried out by the own resources of the municipality of Dano. With the support of mining funds and financial partners, and the State, the special delegation carried out several achievements. These include, among others, the construction of drilling in Namorè and an autonomous water point at the Ioba provincial high school as well as the construction of three classrooms in Sorkon and housing at the CSPS of Dayèrè. Zanré said he was satisfied with these various achievements in this security and humanitarian context in Burkina Faso. Eighteen deliberations were taken to guide the actions of the special delegation during 2023, seventeen of which have been executed and only one in progress. The PDS welcomed the good conduct of current affairs while deploring some difficulties. According to him, these are, among others, the problem of mobilizing land to accommodate public infrastructure, the low mobilization of financial resources for investment and the tax non-compliance of certain taxpayers and conflicts linked to land. He also indicated that frameworks for reflection will be created within the commissions with a view to resolving difficulties. For the year 2024, the special municipal delegation of Dano plans to carry out around twenty activities. These include, among other things, the rehabilitation of the Batiara school and the construction of a school latrine at the Moutori school and an autonomous water po int at the Dano urban medical center.
