_: On the occasion of the launch of the 1st edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation (JEPPC) on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in Dano, the high commissioner of the province of Ioba Bernadette Adenyo / Sermé planned the organization of a sanitation operation. Like other localities in Burkina Faso, the high commissioner of the Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo née Sermé, officially launched the first edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation in Dano. This launch was marked by the rise of national colors. The ceremony took place at the provincial directorate of solidarity, humanitarian action, national reconciliation, gender and family of Ioba. The Ioba bodies showed great mobilization at the said ceremony. Some dressed as Faso Dan Fani and others as Koko Dunda, each wanted to demonstrate their attachment to the homeland. At the end of the flag-raising ceremony, the first official of the Ioba province delivered the message from the President of the transition. We note that the JEPPC will take place in two phases, on March 26 and October 2 of each year for fifteen days. 'The government established these days with a view to consolidating the foundations of the Burkinabè Nation, strengthening social cohesion and living together,' indicated the High Commissioner. The Head of State invited each Burkinabè to take simple actions such as planting a tree at each happy event, contributing to the peace effort, consuming local dishes and products. With this in mind, the first manager of Ioba announced the organization of a sanitation operation in Dano, the capital of the province during this 1st edition of the JEPPC. 'We decided to clean up our environment to fight malaria,' explained Ms. Adenyo. She urged the bodies to mobilize agents and members of different structures for effective and remarkable participation in this health day. She noted that this will help reduce the rate of malaria patients at the start of the rainy season. For her, this operat ion is a simple act during these JEPPC but useful for the health of the populations. Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé hoped that everyone would meditate more on the message of the Head of State for a permanent quest for better performance Source: Burkina Information Agency
