Putin wins the presidential election with 87% of the votes (exit poll results)

Current Russian President Vladimir Putin comes in first place in the Russian presidential election, obtaining 87% of the vote, according to the exit poll of the All-Russian Center for Opinion Research public (VTsIOM ) that TASS was able to consult. Behind Putin comes the Communist Party candidate Nikolai Kharitonov (4.6%). Vladislav Davankov occupies third place (4.2%) and Leonid Sloutski fourth (3%). In addition, 1.2% ballots will be declared invalid. The survey was carried out after leaving the polling stations from March 15 to 17. According to the Foundation for Public Opinion (FOM), the Russian head of state received 87.8% of the votes, followed by Kharitonov (4.7%).
