SN-Citec: Nandy Somé wants qualifying training for women for their employability

Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of gender Nandy Somé wished in Bobo-Dioulasso to offer qualifying training to women from the Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie Citec (SN-Citec) for their employability in the said company, learned the AIB from the ministry's communications services. According to the ministry's communications department, "qualified female personnel are often unavailable to occupy certain positions of responsibility at the Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie Citec (SN-Citec)." To this end, Nandy Somé wanted to achieve equal opportunities for men and women in the workplace, by offering qualifying training opportunities to women. Minister Somé spoke on April 19, during his visit to the facilities of the Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie Citec in Bobo-Dioulasso. Before retiring, Nandy Somé left this note for the company's workers: '…The quality of your products contributes to improving hygiene and good nutrition in families, everything which contributes to guaranteeing health populations. With these words, accept all my gratitude for the excellent work you are doing for the happiness of the Burkinabè people. Continue with excellence!..." Created on November 1, 1995, Société Nouvelle Huilerie et Savonnerie Citec is a Burkinabe private law company. It is the first industry in Burkina Faso operating in the oilseed sector, through the production of edible oil, cottonseed cake and livestock feed based on cottonseed.
